CORONAVIRUS in Romania September 29

To date, on September 29, in Romania, 125,414 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

100,636 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 1,470 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.

To date, 4,792 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

Between 28.09.2020 (10:00) – 29.09.2020 (10:00) there were 44 deaths (30 men and 14 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Argeş, Bacău, Brăila , Braşov, Buzău, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Gorj, Hunedoara, Iaşi, Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiş, Tulcea, Vâlcea and Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 20-29 years, 2 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 3 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 14 deaths in the age category 60- 69 years, 15 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 9 deaths in the over 80 years category.

All deaths were from comorbidities.

In the specialized health units, the total number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,527. Of these, 551 are hospitalized at ATI.

To date, 2,393,670 tests have been processed at the national level. Of these, 21,330 were performed in the last 24 hours, 12,992 based on the case definition and medical protocol, and 8,338 upon request.

In Romania, 10,435 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 7,341 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 23,816 people are in quarantine at home, and 179 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

CORONAVIRUS in Romania – Yesterday’s balance sheet

Until yesterday on the Romanian territory, 123,944 cases of persons infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) were confirmed. 99,344 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 1,271 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Aside from the newly confirmed cases, following the retest of patients who were already positive, 246 people were reconfirmed positively.

4,748 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

Between 27.09.2020 (10:00) – 28.09.2020 (10:00) were registered 30 deaths (15 men and 15 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş , Bacău, Bihor, Botoşani, Cluj, Constanţa, Dolj, Gorj, Maramureş, Prahova, Tulcea, Vaslui, Vrancea and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 20-29 years, 1 death in the age category 40-49 years, 2 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 7 deaths in the age category 60- 69 years, 10 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 9 deaths in the over 80 years category.

29 of the registered deaths were of patients who presented with comorbidities, and one deceased patient did not present with comorbidities.

In the specialized health units, the total number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,528. Of these, 557 are hospitalized at ATI.

In Romania, 10,331 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 7,395 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 24,136 people are in quarantine at home, and 179 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
