In Kiev, during the day, 323 people fell ill with COVID-19, 11 died

The number of residents of Kiev who have found a coronavirus has increased over the past day by 323 people, the mayor of the city Vitali Klitschko said on Sunday morning.

“11 patients died. During the pandemic, the coronavirus claimed the lives of 361 residents of Kiev,” Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

He noted that today there are already 21,815 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the capital.

Over the past day, the following fell ill: 174 women aged 18 to 84; 122 men aged 21 to 73; 15 girls from 2 years old to 17 and 12 boys from 5 to 17 years old. In particular, 12 doctors fell ill.

46 patients were hospitalized in the capital’s hospitals. The rest are on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.

95 people have recovered over the past day. In total, 6,482 residents of Kiev have overcome the coronavirus.

Most cases of the disease were found in Desnyanskiy district – 69. In Solomenskiy district – 54. But in Obolonskiy district – 47 cases.
