Currently, 3,176 people are still being treated in the Khmelnytsky region: 493 patients are in the hospital, and 2,683 are in outpatient treatment. Among them are 146 children and 240 doctors.

Bed occupancy in the region’s institutions providing care to patients with COVID-19 is 62.9%.

A total of 2,373 people have already recovered in the Khmelnytsky region, which is 41.9% of the confirmed cases. As of the evening of September 24, 45 more patients had recovered in the region.

According to HODA, two fatalities due to COVID-19 have been confirmed in the region over the past 24 hours. What is known about patients:

  • 79-year-old and 61-year-old man, their diagnosis was confirmed posthumously. Two patients from Khmelnytsky.

A total of 5,657 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the Khmelnytsky region since the beginning of the pandemic. Among them are 277 children, 505 doctors and 150 educators.
