This was stated at a press conference by the head of the Center for Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC Zhang Xinmin, transfers TASS.

“Mutations are proceeding within normal limits. If the vaccines being tested now are launched into production, they will be able to successfully fight all sequences of the coronavirus,” added Zhang Xinmin.

The head of the Center for the Development of Medical Sciences and Technologies of the State Committee on Hygiene and Health of the People’s Republic of China, Zheng Zhongwei, in turn said that China plans to produce about 610 million doses of coronavirus vaccine by the end of this year, and in 2021 it will increase this figure to 1 billion.
