Headquarters published data on new cases of coronavirus in the capital

Coronavirus infection was detected in another 860 people. The average daily growth rate of new cases over two weeks is 0.27 percent. This was reported in the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow.

46.1 percent of new cases are people aged 18 to 45 years, 16.5 percent – from 46 to 65 years old, 14.6 percent – from 66 to 79 years old, 9.8 percent – over 80 years old. Another 13 percent are children. All patients, as well as people in close contact with them, are under medical supervision.

In the capital, more than 700 people have already been vaccinated as part of post-registration studies of a vaccine against coronavirus infection. The procedure takes place in two stages: first, the first component of the vaccine is introduced, and after 21 days – the second. This is necessary to strengthen the body’s immune defenses.

Adult citizens of Russia who have a compulsory medical insurance policy can take part in the study. At the same time, a person should not have ARVI or contact with those who are sick with COVID-19 two weeks before vaccination.

The vaccine is tolerated by the body in the same way as a regular vaccine. She has already gone through two stages of clinical research. The vaccine does not contain the coronavirus itself, which means that you cannot get sick with it or infect others. Those who received the drug developed antibodies, that is, immunity was formed.
