“The death of a man at the age of 79 was registered. The course of the disease was complicated by severe bilateral viral pneumonia,” the press service of the Sevastopol government said.
In addition, 12 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the city per day. As of the morning of September 8, 108 people with confirmed coronavirus are being treated in Sevastopol hospitals. And since the beginning of the year, 590 people have become infected with a dangerous infection.
In neighboring Crimea, the number of victims from COVID-19 has already reached 34 people; in total, 2,891 people have been infected with the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.
