President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the new Kovid-19 measures to be implemented after the cabinet meeting. Accordingly, cafes and restaurants will be strictly controlled, standing passengers will not be allowed in public transportation.
Noting that there are countries where the number of deaths exceeded one thousand and that some European countries are struggling with the second wave of the epidemic, Erdoğan said, “Our country is at a better point thanks to the measures we have taken. We deeply regret the partial increase in the number of cases and deaths. – The current situation is not acceptable. “We are concerned about the increase in cases.”
Emphasizing that coronavirus controls will be tightened, President Erdoğan said, “Cafes and restaurants will be inspected much more strictly in terms of compliance with the rules. Standing passengers will not be allowed in all provinces in public transport. Capacity restrictions may be applied in risky provinces. “The penalties imposed, especially the use of masks, will definitely be collected.”
Erdogan ended his words as follows:
“Until a better solution is found, we must rearrange our lives according to cleaning, mask and distance measures. As long as we do not stay away from crowded activities and follow the rules, neither hospitals nor punitive measures can protect us from the virus. ”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also noted that as a country related to the tourism sector, we managed to surpass 10 million tourists as of September 6 and that this figure will be increased to high levels by the end of the year.
