Kiev. September 2. INTERFAX-UKRAINE – The testing rate in Kyiv is the highest in Ukraine and is 210 tests per 100,000 people, said Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
“So more and more people are turning to doctors with symptoms of coronavirus, and the number of tests is increasing. The rate of testing in Kyiv today is the highest in Ukraine. It is 210 tests per 100,000 people,” Klitschko said during an online briefing on Wednesday.
He noted that in total, more than 99,000 samples of biomaterial have been tested by PCR in communal medical institutions and laboratory centers since the beginning of the pandemic. More than 17.5 thousand tests were performed by ELISA to detect antibodies. The samples are examined in both private and public clinics.
“Mobile teams of medics continue to work actively in the capital, taking biomaterial for analysis for COVID-19 from patients at home. On September 1 alone, teams selected 923 samples.
