Zelensky instructed Shmygal to mobilize forces to avoid the second wave of coronavirus – news on UNN


KIEV. August 8. UNN. Given the rapid increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed Prime Minister Denis Shmygal to immediately conduct a comprehensive assessment of the readiness of hospitals to provide care to patients, provide facilities with all necessary equipment, reports UNN with reference to the message of the Office of the President.

In addition, the President ordered the government to provide medical workers with personal protective equipment in full and to strengthen control over compliance with quarantine measures.

The Cabinet of Ministers should also review the mode of operation of checkpoints of entry into the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the Office said.

“Ukraine knows how to mobilize if necessary. It is time for the government to mobilize forces to avoid a second wave of coronavirus infection, which could have dire consequences not only for the economy but also for our human capital, ”Zelensky said.
