The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria today exceeded 10,000, as the country announced 270 new infections in the past 24 hours, according to official figures.
Eight people died from covid-19 during yesterday, with the total death toll now standing at 337, while the cases reached 10,123.
In the Czech Republic, the number of cases of covid-19 exceeded 15,000 yesterday, Friday, which prompted the authorities to reintroduce some restrictions aimed at halting the spread of coronavirus, as cases rose sharply last week.
More than 150 new infections have been reported in the Czech Republic over the past five days, while Prague is trying to curb a coronavirus outbreak linked to a club.
For this reason, as of today, Czechs will have to wear a mask when participating in indoor events with more than 100 people.
