Another case of death of a patient with coronavirus has been registered in the Altai Republic. On Saturday, October 17, a 57-year-old resident of Gorno-Altaysk died. Her coronavirus was confirmed on October 13. In addition, the woman was diagnosed with coronavirus pneumonia. Thus, for the entire period in the region, 32 deaths were registered in patients with coronavirus, including 28 from Covid-19, four from other reasons.
On Saturday, October 17, 133 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected. Coronavirus was confirmed in 36 residents of the Mayminsky district, including one child; 34 residents of the city of Gorno-Altaysk, including three children; 21 residents of the Ust-Koksinsky district, including four children; 20 residents of the Ongudaysky district, including one child; from nine residents of Choysky district, including two children; eight residents of the Chemal region, including one child; from three residents of Turochak district; from one resident of the Ust-Kansk region; one child in the Kosh-Agach region. In 131 cases, symptoms of acute respiratory viral infection were registered, two patients have a pneumonia clinic, the Operational Headquarters informs.
Taking this into account, 5,409 cases of the disease were laboratory confirmed in the Altai Republic, including 1,516 – in the Kosh-Agachsky district, 1,465 – in the city of Gorno-Altaysk, 772 – in the Maiminsky district, 458 – in the Ongudaysky district, 265 – in the Turochaksky district, 229 – in the Ust-Kansky district, 199 – in the Shebalinsky district, 179 – in the Ulagansky district, 152 – in the Ust-Koksinsky district, 125 – in the Chemal district, 49 – in the Choi district.
Over the past day, 60 patients from the city of Gorno-Altaysk, Kosh-Agachsky, Maiminsky, Ongudaysky, Turochaksky, Chemalsky, Choisky, Ulagansky, Shebalinsky districts have recovered. As of the morning of October 18, 3,777 people recovered in the region over the entire period.
A total of 106,124 people were laboratory tested for coronavirus infection. On Saturday, October 18, 772 samples were examined. 815 people are under medical supervision.
